The M. Gluteus Minimus (Gluteus Minimus) is a muscle of the hip region. It is responsible for hip abduction and internal rotation, pelvic stabilization. This muscle is not covered by the official SENIAM catalogue — placement is based on established clinical literature. Origin Gluteal surface of the Os ilium (between anterior and inferior gluteal lines) Insertion Greater trochanter of the femur (ventral surface)

Hip abduction with internal rotation in side-lying against resistance
